ZIRN, the "Interdisciplinary Research Unit on Risk Governance and Sustainable Technology Development" is part of IZKT, the "International Center for Cultural and Technological Studies" of Stuttgart University. ZIRN aims to systematically research into the conditions and consequences of sustainable development of technologies, including its risks, and the interaction of politics, economy and civil society (governance). The main task of our research center is to suggest, to coordinate and to realize research projects in three major research areas: |
